From intern to the director of the company

It was the summer of 2012 and I believe that there are certain moments in life that can define and shape your career and who you will become. This was one of those moments for me.

Eye opener

I was in the second year of my engineering and was starting to think about what I wanted to do with my life. I had always been interested in technology and that’s why I chose B.Tech as my career option. One day, our professor started talking about magnetic tapes and how they were used to store data in the past.

At first, I was intrigued by this piece of history and was interested to learn more about it. However, as the class went on, it became clear that this technology was completely obsolete in the modern world. We were now using solid-state drives (SSDs) to store data, which were much faster and more efficient than magnetic tapes.

As I listened to the lecture, I couldn’t help but feel frustrated. Here we were, spending all this time learning about something that was no longer relevant in the real world. It seemed like our curriculum was completely out of touch with the current state of the industry.

This realization opened my eyes to the fact that our education system was often slow to adapt to the rapidly changing world of technology. It made me question whether the things I was learning in college would actually be useful in my future career.

Start of my internship

I heard about Techies Institute for Learning and Innovation, a well-respected institute known for their cutting-edge training programs.

I applied to their six-week training program. During my time at Techies, I was introduced to a wide variety of topics, including embedded systems and programming.

I was particularly interested in programming and was determined to make the most of my time at Techies. I spent long hours in the classroom, soaking up as much knowledge as I could. I also participated in hands-on projects and worked with my classmates to develop my skills.

By the end of the program, I had gained a solid foundation in embedded systems and programming. I became more and more interested in programming. I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in the field, but I was not in a financial position to afford the various courses that were available.

This is when the CEO of Techies Institute for Learning and Innovation, Mr. Anurag Byala, approached me with an offer. He offered me an internship at the institute, where I would be able to work part-time in return for the courses that I needed to advance my career.

I was thrilled at the opportunity and eagerly accepted. Over the next few years, I spent my afternoons and weekends at Techies, working alongside the other interns and learning from the experienced professionals who taught there.

I learned a wide variety of skills, including Java programming, PHP programming, HTML, CSS, WordPress, OpenCart, Magento, and graphic design. These courses helped shape my career and gave me the foundation I needed to succeed in the tech industry.

As I gained more experience and knowledge, I started to feel more confident in my abilities. I knew that I had found my calling and was determined to make the most of this opportunity.

Start of my professional career

As I entered my final year of engineering, I was excited about the prospect of starting my career in the tech industry. I had spent the last few years learning as much as I could about programming and web development, and I was eager to put my skills to the test.

To my delight, I received a job offer from Techies Institute for Learning and Innovation. They had been impressed with my skills and dedication during my internship and offered me a position as a web developer.

I was thrilled at the opportunity and eagerly accepted the offer. I knew that working at Techies would give me the chance to continue learning and growing as a developer, and I was excited to be part of such a respected company.

During my time at Techies Institute for Learning and Innovation, I was given the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects in the field of web development. However, one project in particular caught my attention.

I was asked to work on a project for a healthcare customer, where I would be responsible for developing and implementing a digital marketing campaign. I was intrigued by this opportunity and decided to take it on.

As I worked on the project, I became more and more interested in the field of digital marketing. I enjoyed the fast-paced nature of the work and the opportunity to constantly learn and grow. I also liked the idea of being able to use my skills and knowledge to help businesses succeed and make a positive impact on the world.

As I explored this field further, I realized that this was a career path that I was truly passionate about. I decided to dedicate myself to learning as much as I could about digital marketing, and I started looking for ways to gain more experience in the field.

After several years of working at Techies Institute for Learning and Innovation, I made the decision to part ways with the company and explore new opportunities in the field of digital marketing.

I had gained a lot of valuable experience and knowledge at Techies, and I was grateful for the opportunities that the company had given me. However, I felt that it was time for a change and I wanted to try something new.

I began searching for job openings in the B2B industry and was eventually offered a position at XenonStack, a well-respected DevOps and Data Science company. I accepted the offer and started working at XenonStack as a digital marketer.

As I gained more experience at XenonStack, I became more confident in my abilities and was able to take on more responsibility. I enjoyed working with the talented team at the agency and was grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a successful company.

In the end, my decision to part ways with Techies and explore the B2B industry was one of the best decisions I ever made. It opened up new doors and opportunities for me and helped me to build a successful and fulfilling career in digital marketing.

After several years at XenonStack, I decided to continue exploring the world of B2B digital marketing and started looking for new job opportunities. I was fortunate to find several exciting positions at other agencies including VT Netzwelt, RavStack, and more and was able to advance my career through hard work and dedication.

However, as I moved from one company to the next, I couldn’t help but think about Techies Institute for Learning and Innovation. I had spent several years at the company earlier in my career and had many fond memories of my time there.

To my surprise, I received an offer to return to Techies as an Operations Manager. I was excited at the opportunity to come back to a company that had played such an important role in my career.

As I returned to Techies, I was amazed at how much the company had grown. It was no longer just an institute, but had now become a full-fledged digital agency, offering a wide range of services to clients around the world.

I was excited to be part of this growth and was determined to contribute to the success of the company. I worked hard and was eventually promoted first to Chief Marketing Officer and then to the Director of the agency, overseeing all of the operations and helping to guide the direction of the company.

It was a long and challenging journey, but I was grateful for the opportunity to be back at Techies and to have the chance to grow and advance my career. In the end, it was the determination and hard work that helped me achieve my goals and build a successful and fulfilling career in the tech industry.
